I always kinda wondered if he "regretted" the overstuffed 90s releases but I guess he didn't really like to look back... and it was all endemic to the times, in the 90s everyone was trying to hit the 74 min limitation of the CD era, by the 00s people kinda scaled back to preferring the simple 40-50 min. direct and simple LP.

He clearly didn't and that's special. But for us fans it's nice to revise history a little when revisiting the releases during this period. Too many segues as well, which is also indicative of the 90s. Some are great but feel his "concepts" never truly added up but they certainly inspired great music. Even Rainbow Children can astound musically if you can get passed the dogmatic Darth Vader voice.
