I just realized that Prince is literally pleading with Morris to take a solo in Cloreen Baconskin

When he's asking Alfred to talk to him, than clowning him for being old.

'Say n****, what you need?
You wanna open your hat?'

Only then does Morris get it and start to play lol.
It's like a minute of this lol. Morris was probably like who tf is Alfred

More of a loose jam than a song. I've always struggled with this one! However, I love Irresistible Bitch which seems to be the song it inspired? Anyone else hear that?😎✌️🎸

"Tricky" seems the closest to a straight-up "Cloreen Bacon Skin" single edit. It's why it's easily my favorite out of the "variations".

I would love to read more about Prince and Morris (and Andre too for that matter) all growing up as friends.

I remember reading that Morris Day wrote Partyup and Prince wanted it, and in exchange Prince made "The Time" . . . and Andre wrote Do Me, Baby and Prince wanted it. I'm curious if any other early tracks were written by others?
