Junk Music - The Flesh I've revisted this brilliant piece of purple perfection. I am currently re-obssessed. So funky.
It made me think...Do I like The Flesh as much as Madhouse 8? I ADORE Madhouse 8 (and to a tad lesser extend 16 & 24). But man, hearing Prince totally killin those drums...and the rest of them just jammin out...so much fun. Fuck it...they both are brilliant.
What y'all think? The Flesh or Madhouse? [Edited 7/14/23 13:41pm]

I think I would go with The Flesh but 8 is a fantastic album. The Paisley Jam tracks are is my favourite of the Flesh output. Something BIG Is Coming.

This is something the Estate should consider releasing.

"The Flesh" is great, that said I do think the Madhouse albums, especially the first two, are more "complete" albums and have a wider variety of song styles because it isn't just one long song with changes in it followed by a couple of other quick songs lol

I'm still amazed (and very grateful) that The Flesh stuff was 'set free', for the longest time it was my holy grail of unreleased projects, and really I didn't think I'd ever get to hear it. Still blows my mind, I love it.

Junk Music is the main one imo. U Gotta Shake Something, Up From Below, Y'all Want Some more, are a few others.
As much as I love this...I am leaning that Madhouse is better...someone above mentioned how they are more cohesive albums and have more variety. Yep...totally agree. The Flesh...esp the Loooonnnng version is pretty repetitous.
