Prince Picture Discs https://prince.org/msg/7/98259 https://www.discogs.com/l...-12/592656 What would you say was Prince’s best picture disc vinyl? Should the estate release some new ones, to coincide with a bigger release? Maybe a hologram one for a Diamonds & Pearls release (if that’s even possible and doesn’t cost more than kidney)? I like the cut out ones the best, Purple Rain motorbike, Paisley Park boy with the balloon, Kiss leather jacket, Sexy MF symbol (not so sure about the Girls & Boys one). Of the other ones, Fury is quite striking, and Arms of Orion looks good (check out Prince’s moody looking ‘fizzog’ on the reverse). There may or may not be something coming! | |

I love the picture discs too. Never Take The Place of Your Man is a cool one...and agree the vintage cut-outs are probably the best. There's a Black Sweat one that's kind of cool, with Beautiful, Loved and Blessed as a the b-side. Batman and Batdance also got the treatment, not to mention Partyman, U Got The Look and SOTT (all cool in their own way).
I like the Girls & Boys one...but also the Parade album, that's a v cool one.
There have been 1-2 standard 7" pic discs also - 1999 for Record Store Day, Letitgo and I think the re-release of Controversy for the Hits/B-Sides.
Dance 4 Me is a rare, and expensive one!
