The track that won Prince the 'Razzie Award for Worst Original Song'

Author is either completely unaware of Camille or just wanted an excuse to roast the Camille vox. "Computerized" makes it seem somewhere between Roger Troutman and T-Pain, Prince was using "futuristic techniques" innovated by the likes of Alvin and the Chipmunks in 1959. [Edited 6/6/23 1:42am]

Prince should've put this fucking fantastic gem on an album! "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts" (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

Yours is better than the original Or is this (internet lyric) wrong? - "The boy was in need of some diehard pussy The kinda drawers that last (...) We could play for days (...) Gimme that, gimme that Vaseline "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts" (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

Super funky track, especially the 12” version! Funny how tastes can differ so much "In Funk We Thrust" - Bootsy Collins

You gotta wonder how old this joker is that he doesn't get that B Sides were where artists like Prince always strecthed out and got experimental.

That's why I'm saying the fact that it was even eligible for a Razzie. Like the Awards went out of their way to find some obscure way to roast the dude. Album cuts usually aren't eligible for this kind of thing, Razzie's are including literal B-sides up in here.

I'd guess since they were handing out awards for worst picture, worst actor and worst director they needed a song too. I've always had a soft spot for LO$ it's a fun throwaway song.

I must have driven my neighnours mad in the summer of '86 constantly flipping the Kiss 12". I love Love or Money.

Imagine how boring and unadventurous you must be to hear this song back in 1986 and call it the worst movie song of the year. It's as bold as When Doves Cry was, only without caring if it was a hit, since it was a b-side, so much weirder.

It would be interesting to actually know WHO was in the jury for this choice. Let’s track him/her down and force ‘it’ to listen to this track for 1 full long hour! "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts" (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)
