so, if anyone likes to watch these rocker guys just now 'discover' that Prince is one of the greatest guitarists ever....this is just one guy of many.
This guy Fill from Wings of Pegasus has done a few Prince reaction videos. These are not the usual 'whoa'...'wow'....and other histrionics. Fil actually dissects Prince's guitar work and what's really amazing is, Fil is able to play Prince's parts very convincingly....it's actually remarkable.
Search up Wings of PEgasus "It's taken me THIRTY YEARS to see Prince do THIS! WHY?!
Here Fill explains how he grew up thinking Prince was a MJ type and may have dismissed him as such. He does explain why he thinks Prince was not known to be guitarist....b/c he could do it all which actually made it hard to know how bes tto market him.
Then search up "HOW have I NEVER seen this Prince guitar solo before?!!!" which is FIl reacting to Prince doing Play THat Funky Music from the Forum show that is on the W2A blu ray. Fil plays that stuff dead on!
As for this interview with Morris Hayes...well, it seemed hard for Fil to get a word in...i was a little disappointed that there wasn't more about Prince's guitar playing...but, quite good.

Part 4: Prince tunes his guitar while performing cuz his recently-fired tech sabatoged(un-tuned) the instrument on purpose! Like, he didn't stop playing for moments to tune it quetly with a tuner and make everyone wait! He just tuned it by ear as his show went on ."...well, which wallet is yours?" ."...the one that says 'BADASS MOTHERFUCKER'!!!
