Did Prince sell merchandise at his shows? Of course, a lot of artists sell merchandise that can be bought at the venues that concert goers can buy before the show.
But for reason, it never occurred to me that Prince wanted to market himself like that. To those who have attended a Prince concert... was there merchandise such as tour books, clothes, etc? | |

Yes. I didn't always buy things but there were T-shirts, programmes, mugs, posters, tambourines etc. All the T-shirts I bought at Prince gigs have fallen to bits over the years, but I still have the programmes I bought at a few tours (Nude, Act 2, Ultimate Live Experience, and 3rdEyeGirl) and a mug from the 3rdEyeGirl tour. |

Some things require just a little bit of common sense, or even at the most, a google search...theres nothing "bitter" at all about expressing that in a public online comment reply box...some people have super thin skin |

Here’s a better question. What’s the best bit of concert merch you’ve purchased? I’ll start… 2 from the Nude Tour 1. Leather necklace with original male/female symbol pendant. 2. Wide neck, long sleeve T-shirt in black with shiny gold symbol on back (sort of replica of his stage outfit). Never seen it for sale again, or known anyone else to own one! (I’ve also never worn it!!) And 3. “Welcome to the Dawn” - Bagleys Warehouse T-Shirt. Only sold on the night, as far as I know. |
