I got pretty mad with LOOSE, later enjoyed Pheromone and previously idolised COME. Papa has a super end…

I like the whole CD. The songs fit well together and make me want more- to "come again". It's one of those multiple orgasmic albums.

bullshit, come is a masterpiece without solo and orgasm. i think my fave song is space

evillol you wouldn't perchance be a newbie or fairly new to p's music would you? SOTT was a masterpiece, Come is a decent album from a fading popstar with a few reflected moments of former glory.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I think the album version of Come is extremely lame. It's just way too slow and repetitive. And the licking... such poor technique. No wonder Mayte left him.

The original electronic version kicks its ass IMHO.

Whoever said that the Space Universal Love Remix is the best song had it right. That song is better than anything on the album.

I think Interactive and the original version of Endorphinmachine would be tied for the best songs on the album had the much better original configuration been kept.

What was the original configuration Brian?

My fave tracks are, Loose, Papa, Race, Pheremone. I really don't like space but not heard the universal love remix.

Did you notice that synth wave behind the chorus. That is
absolutely brilliant. You can't really tell it's there if
you just listen to it over the speakers. It just fills up
the song and makes it sound thick and warm. But if you
listen to it on your headphones you can hear it, ebbing
to and fro like waves onto a shore.

I've always considered this to be one of Prince's best 90's
tunes. Don't know why so many people hate it, it's a very
good effort and a great Prince tune. It's a dark grey and
red song [call me crazy but I see colours when I listen to
music, it's a slight birth-defect] and Prince doesn't
have too many of those.

The short horn part [or horn-ish] is a very cool touch. The
instrumental remix floating about on the net is made up out
of the horn line almost entirely.

the instrumental remix was used as music for BET's video show credits, I believe... and these intrumentals may have come first. come.

"Come" is a motherfucking masterpiece. If it consisted only of the title track and "Solo" it would still be a motherfucking masterpiece. Sign O' The Times is not the only wonderful album he has ever recorded.
