LILpoundCAKE said: just by looking at the artwork to N.E.W.S. it's pretty much obvious that it's a global thing. Well yeah there is that. South could've used a steel drum, a mararca or a didgeriroo somewhere's in it. I only mentally travelled to kansas city. Maybe I need to listen closer. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

Just to fuck with y'all, i've been listening the whole week to this album, and damn it's good. Heard it every day once! Yes it has a few weak moments, but the over all music sounds super strong. Prince plays fantastic guitar, like always, Eric's contributions are really stunning. Best for me so far. i'm gonna remix this album to 8 songs, and make it a Madhouse album! Face down! I want more Princestrumental albums like this! - (Was Prince planning to record a blues only album at some point? Was that an instrumental album idea or what? I remember vaguely something of a Robert Johnson story...) "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts" (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972) | |
