I hate thinking about that day. I was at work and I tried to come here and it was down... I did not think much of it. But then I saw on a regular news feed about something a PP... then it said a "death" and I knew. A few days or a week or two before that I was overwhemed that he was in danger... I even posted here (I think in the topic where he cancled the Alanta show). Then when the plane landed the person that told me was kind of rude and I even said to them "don't play with me about him. I would not handle it well if something happend to him..." then a few days later.

But that day I went home early....I heard people talking about him singing "purple rain." the boss was a casual fan and told us all to wear purple the next day....I did not. Some lady said I was rude not to, she said something about how he was a great person....

I said "you may be a fan of his hits....but I have all of his album and a lot more....I have listened to him damn near every day for decades.... my heart is purple and it is broken...." I was wearing black....

That's so strange that you said that , i also was having dreams of him hitting the news dead ... then i would wake up and he was still here, but an over whelming feeling something wasnt right with him.

Then does anyone remember this ? i was there when it first hit the news, the news reporter said on a live feed , "Shots fired at paisley park" . Then that was wiped from the news forever, and replaced with Prince has been found dead. Then shortly later the story of the drug came out... and the way they rushed his body to be cremated early the next morning ... was just insane

For me it was already the 22nd in Australia. I woke early as the news was hitting here. At first I sought confirmation as false reports of deaths of famous people first thing in the morning is too common. Fortunately my workmates knew of my fandom and were very supportive and kind that day.

Because it helps carry on his legacy! The younger generation discovering Prince through these reaction videos are one way to keep him alive!
