"Arms..." is a beautful song.... It is about deep longing and missing someone dear but you can still have a concection... it is a little cheesy but sweet.

batdance is badd and orion is goodd

that 1-2 punch of the future going into electric chair is INSANE though. electric chair is one of his most underrated songs ever ever

its a good time.

i mean, the guy isnt alive anymore, so the days of him pumping out new stuff and touring regularly are over.

so the fact we are still getting music is a good thing.

could it be more frequent?

well ofc, esp considering how much material there is for them to work with.

but hey, the release rate is not tooooo bad.

im guessing though that just as people said to prince when he was here, they are trying to not saturate the market and release too much.

these are archive releases now too, not new music, which is a different ballgame to releasing new music.

less of a market for archive releases.

"Batdance" is the reason why I'm a Prince fan. To each their own.

the second half of batdance is one of the funkiest things he did in this period.

It is what it is. It is more of a DJ set for the movie than a single song

I think it was a copyright issue. I remember the Act I tour shirt, with the names of all of his albums, instead of 'Batman' it said 'Scandalous.'

That's when I got into Prince! Which was my fav time as I was just starting to discover his music - So everyone has their time I guess!

I like the concept. He was mixing a bunch of different songs into a medley. I found it brilliant and it did blend well together.
