Finally getting around to ordering Duane Tudahl's books (I really hope they look good on the shelf together) and am wondering if I should throw 'All the Songs' in the cart as well. I know nothing about it -- can someone tell me if this is a credible work, or direct me to the thread where this was discussed? I'd search myself, but the Org search function seems to be turned off..

Well, they do, but surely it's the content that matters, which is superb by the way.

I bought the books. It's very comprehensive. I like it. It's not without mistakes, but what source is? Even PrinceVault and Tudahls's books have some mistakes in them.

Thanks, lurker. That's exactly what I was looking for.

It's great and even had some tidbits i'd never heard before. Well-sourced; I didn't know Prince had actually talked that much about individual songs. Good to have it all in one spot. Great pictures too.
