nice, but which Time abum, what song and what synth riff... nice puzzle to figur out i leave that up to others. thing i wonder is, did Michael (or someone else back then) knew it was all Prince playing these sounds? i mean Jamie starr... Those MJ records really were about coalescing/straight up jacking intriguing pop trends of the moment and streamlining them so they were even more pop. [Edited 3/6/23 6:39am] |

This is similar to Rick James actually stealing Prince's(r.i.p.) programmed synthesizers using them on his own 1981 album Street Songs, and then sent them back to him “with a thank-you card.” SMH Prince(r.i.p.) is low key responsible for some of the biggest albums in their careers.
