Went through it, doesn't sound very promissing at all! Meaning there is no organisation. If they still have to book bands or organise stuff ... they are way to late. So expext a video, some chatting, extra shoe or jewelry exhibition, super VIP expensive tickets and expensive normal tickets too. ...and for the rest, t-shirts, bedsheets, pijamas, candles, pensils, cups, all in chinese plastic shit. Actually let me try to be positive; maybe, very maybe they'll show a video we've never seen of some live performance, or a snippet of a song we've never heard, and never will have. *sigh*

Q. What matters most to you in deciding to attend Celebration? A. Prince being there, otherwise what's the point in travelling thousands of miles to the arse end of nowhere to watch a live video and buy overpriced tat? Formerly TheDigitalGardener etc.

the only reason i would ever attend one of these would have been to see p but to go now and ham it up with a bunch of sweaty prince fans while you wait in line to see his shoes behind 3 layers of bulletproof glass and then watch 40 seconds of a previously unseen pro shot gig would just be insane.

Agreed. Paisley Park is open almost every day for much less. I don't see the point of Celebration at all. It only feeds the egos of these "special guests" who cannot wait to talk about how it was like working for him. [Edited 3/1/23 10:34am]

One would hope they use this opportunity to move the needle and deliver something actually epic. Instead, it's an excuse to party with the fans on the fans' dimes. Pass. These fools need to use their brains to secure a bag one time instead of riding someone else's wallet.

the celebration is nice for those who can travel to it and pay for it. and I have nothing against it as such, eventho I won't (be able to) go.

Prince fans should honestly organize a boycott of "celebration"/PP until we get new releases. The estate has no incentive to change.
