The Prince song that Beck wishes he'd written: "it never goes out of style"

Midnight Vultures in all honestly is one of the better Prince doppelganger records. The B-Sides like "Arabian Nights", "This Is My Crew" (Beck's best attempt at teh funk) and "Saxx Laws (Night Flight to Ojai)" are equally solid takes. [Edited 2/28/23 16:40pm]

Most Beck records are good but Sea Change is his best. Not a Prince sounding album by any strecth but amazing nontheless.

The sad-bastard acoustic albums of his kinda blend together, and I say that as a big fan of Sea Change. For awhile he was just alternating back-and-forth between that and his Dust Brothers junk-funk. This is another reason why Midnite Vultures is so special. Beck - Midnite Vultures Andre 3000 - The Love Below The-Dream - Love/Hate [Edited 3/4/23 3:38am]
