Why isn't Prince in the songwriters hall of fame ? Someone started a petition a while ago saying : "I really do not understand why Mr. Prince Rogers Nelson has not been added yet. How many more songs does he have to write for himself and others before he is recognized? Please add Prince into the Songwriters Hall of Fame as soon as possible.

Maybe it's 'cause his famz constantly ignore/belittle examples of stretching his songwriting prowess with genuinely great material he wrote for the likes of Bria Valente, Martika, Ingrid Chavez, etc
Gonna highlight "Ain't No Place Like U" from the Mayte LP right now.
& the org should demand the estate finally unleash full-length "The Single Most Amazing Thing in the Room" by Rita Ora to the world. There's a petition worth signing!.. but not really because petitions r kindasorta creepy,srry.

According to Linda Moran (the same lady who mentioned the estate), he was elected for induction while he was alive but his schedule never allowed him to attend the ceremony. The response was from 2018 by the way so I don't understand the holdup.
