Probably no music, and if so, something repackaged as a money grab. Also, you can rest in the solace that there will probably be some new sweater for sale that everyone can get.

In reality? Nothing says F U more than more merchandise while a treasure trove of music is being sat on, ignored, and let to rot.

To be honest this list is PACKED this April I think they might still do something in the summer and as always the typical one in November for Black Friday. I dont think there is anything that could be tossed in for PRINCE for RSD though to be honest, I really think they should consider releasing that First Avenue PR rain show on vinyl, I know people are tired of the PR era but lets be real here that era is the bread and butter especially for a RSD release.

If we get anything, it will just be some low-effort rehash like a 5 Year Anniversary Reissue of Piano & A Microphone 1983 on marbled vinyl

as expected,no Prince release this is getting to be ridiculous.Why aren't the estate planning any more releases?! Makes no sense.

On a happier note.....there are some real goodies from some of my other favorite artists for this RSD I'm excited about the previously unreleased Jamiroquai live album and the Salsoul/Larry Levan 2-LP vinyl set.

Yes they can't even bother to release something for RSD so I don't have any high hopes for the new estate. They're probably busy figuring out what merchandise to release next.

Well again like I said there is a lot of things on this years first RSD, which could be a reason for nothing from PRINCE, I mean most of the RSD Prince releases have done well and also had a good amount in print, they may be looking at what they have and is it worth a reprint of something at this time or will they just stick with Legacy stuff, I thought possibly we'd see a Vinyl issue of CB but thats a huge thing to print up it would have to be very limited release.

Maybe some stuff will be added to RSD at a later date like every year. I have no hope or trust that the Estate will release anything for RSD but every year some stuff gets added to the RSD list later on and some thing even get removed. The list is dynamic and not final as of yet.
