Thought I'd share this photo I took of some Prince street art near Sunset Blvd in LA a few days/weeks after he passed away.

Possibly but I highly doubt it. It's just a street-art poster that was probably up for a few weeks and then taken down. If you're not interested, cool. Just looking for help to post for those who are.

If the photo is posted somewhere in the internet, you can post it here.

LOL it was not! I'm just sayin', so many tributes were either temporarily or permanently erected post-mortem, that it's likely someone posted it here, or we saw it.

I would imagine it's the Graffiti Bridge-era one, high collar from the side; or the one with a dove over his hair, and his symbol to the side of his face; or The Hits era one - all of which have a purple background.

Although, the one w/ the dove could be MPLS-based. I forget.

It's just a very simple street art poster of a black and white drawing someone slapped onto a side street alongside a bunch of other street art in Hollywood that I've always liked. Almost in a Shepard Fairey style. Was already partially torn when I saw it and was gone the next time I rode by. Very tastefully done, IMO.

It thought there was a way to post a photo here using a third-party website, TinyURL or something like that? Basically you uploaded your photo to that site, which give you a URL to post the picture here...?

Forgive me if my memory and/or description of the process is confused. As I argued in another thread, none of us should be expected to have working knowledge of old-fashioned, no-long-used, manual ways to insert things into posts. (At the same time, I don't begrudge Ben for not updating the the Org's platform. With only about a dozen of us posting here any more, it's not work the effort.)
