Could include ‘Christmas Vacation’ by Mavis Staples that, although does not have Prince involvement, it was released as a Paisley Park promo single, to promote the film of the same name - it was the theme tune. It was also a b-side on the 12” of ‘Time Waits For No One’, so linked to Prince. There may or may not be something coming! |

Another Lonely Christmas I Wish U Heaven Belle of St Mark (yeah, those sleigh bells) Closing of the Year W&L Reaching One W&L (again, sleigh bells) River Joni Mitchell 4 Tears in Your Eyes Merry Christmas to the World Sounds of Blackness The Weight - Staples Singers Winter Wonderland - Eurythimics...I know nothing to do with Prince...I just really liked it and it has a drum machine, lol
There were others...and alot of these are stretches I know...but everyone seemed to like it. I remember specifically the one people really dug was Closing of the Year by Wendy & Lisa. |
