Why aren't Exodus, Goldnigga and NPS are in streaming platforms?

I'm not sure if this question has been answered before but I think these albums should be streaming. I hope the estate gets around it soon.

It's too bad I don't have tidal. Is it worth the investment? I hear tidal's lossless stream isn't really lossless at all which is why I haven't purchased a subscription. Not sure what to believe.

I'm on the Tidal standard subscription. £9.99 a month. I get lossless but not their Mqa files.

I think there is some debate over the quality of mqa. I tried them and I couldn't hear a difference. This was streaming through a Topping E30 dac into a denon amp with bowers and Wilkins 607 speakers.

I stick with Tidal due to the extra Prince content.

So I would yes if you go for the standard package.

OR - even better - digitize the copies folks already own and put it on your device(s).

Actually this website is a site, not a device. We’re not allowed to post songs on here that aren’t legal to stream per the rules on the top of the page. If we embed the songs or albums we could potentially be banned.

It's the only NPG album I haven't checked out yet.

I never get why people ask this other than to simply garner replies and attention for the sake of it.

The only way you're going to know if anything is "worth listening to" is to fucking listen to it yourself.

I don't have tidal, if it were that easily available I probably wouldn't have asked for opinions.

Some of you guys are really a pain in the #$@

It's a bigger pain in the ass to read through ridiculous questions.

Who said anything about Tidal? It's out there. For fuck's sake, enter GOLDNIGGA into YouTube, the whole album is there.

I was unaware it would be this hard, but here we are.

Why you so disgruntled all the time? Must be hard to find happiness or peace of mind?

Go listen and determine for yourself, it’s pretty funky imo.

Forget his disgruntledness. People really gotta think for themselves a bit more. I would never trust anyone's advice on whether something by my favorite artist was "worth listening to" lmao. Huh??

That's true. All anyone needs to do is read through ten posts on the Org to realize we all have widely different tastes in Prince's music and can't agree on anything. With that in mind, it makes no sense to ask if something is good. In all probability, half the people will respond that it's great, while the other half the people will respond that it's terrible. The only know to know if it's good to you, is to listen for yourself.

If everyone thought like y'all there would never be any album reviews.

Some ppl like to read reviews, whether it's for music, books or movies. Of course they check it for themselves eventually.

It's no big deal, stop being such *in Christopher tracy's voice :"Partypoops".

You'll probably not be surprised by the fact that those of us who are lifelong Prince fans gave up reading reviews a long time ago lol. Or at least gave up trusting them.

Otherwise every new album prince came out with was the best since sign o the times.

Rather than asked a broad, open-ended question as to whether it's good, maybe you should ask for a discription. "Is the style of this album more rock, hip-hop, funk, jazzy, experimental or what? Is it commerical, like Batman and Diamonds & Pearls, or is it Prince doing something non-radio-friendly, like The Rainbow Children?"

Didn´t check lately, but it seems that most associated artists´ stuff is not on Spotify. Such a shame.

.

And even Prince´s albums like Graffiti Bridge and The Black Album. I am curious why. In the case of GB, probably because of associated artists´songs inside.

- Funny, just checked, not in my Spotify. And it has several obscure stuff like Chocolate Invasion, Versace Experience, NEWS, TRC, etc. Only Black Album and Graffiti Bridge missing.

.

Maybe because of region? I live in Brazil.

That must be it! GB is on Spotify in the US. I'm surprised Parade is on Brazilian Spotify if GB isn't.

Ahhhh, so it´s a Brazil thing indeed. Don´t know why it happens, because even C-Note is available here.

.

BTW, I am doing a search here and I found some stuff that I didnt find before, like Mavis Staples, Martika. I didnt find Madhouse, Original 7ven Condensate, Bria Valente´s Elixir, Mayte´s Children of the Sun. Is it available for you?
