i love it.
was probably my 1st ever fave Prince song way back when i was a kid & knew bugger all about the man... just heard it on radio all the time & loved it. used 2 hang out 2 hear it. plus its one of the only P songs with Erotic City that i hear in clubs. ***************************************************************************************

I love "Cream".It's a kickass pop song with a killer hook.It's very catchy and memorable,like great pop songs should be.No,it's not one of Prince's more challenging songs,but so what? There's nothing wrong with a good pop song every once in a while.

It sounded amazing when he did it on Arsenio. It made me realise how derived it was from 60's songs like '96 tears' and 'Wooly Bully'. I'm not sure I hear the T.Rex influence though. Also, it has the same verse as 'Peach' So, I think it's fair to say, it's not exactly one of Prince's most original songs. But, he wanted a hit and he got a number one! ******************************************** | |
