Then why piss in the cornflakes of other people who don't share that philosophy? Be at peace with your decision and shut up about it.

I don't "piss at other people who don't share that philosophy", I just answered a question. Shut up yourself, and learn to read.

Neither funkbaby nor I asked a question. You spouted your 2-bit opinions at people who didn't ask for them in the first place.

And you might take up reading yourself, given that you can't even quote someone accurately.

Oh please, get a life.

Yes, and I never said it was bad to buy second-hand.

I just said I don't.

Well … they always say they can't guarantee a copy. But the record store I go to lets you make a "wish list" well in advance, and I've never NOT gotten what I wished for. Plus, the RSD run for Gold is over 24K copies. I don't know how I don't get one when we're talking those kinds of numbers.

I can't find the price on the RSD materials, but I want to say it was between $35 and $40.

Every word I said a few months ago. That RSD thing is a thievery and a waste of time. There were still people here claiming the hundreds few copies " Outside the USA" For the Truth were a huge number, and made it easy to find. Hell no, these RSD are not easy to find, unless they are on Amazon, and they are artificially expensive.

You live in France so if you couldn't find The Truth easily then your record stores thee just suck, that's not on RSD but on your stores.
Because you don't know how or aren't able to buy a record easily it's someone elses fault, right? lol
You obviously live in a place where they don't give a shit about records (I can attest to that because when i wanted to buy Come in '94 when I was in Grenoble at some record store the people in there didn't even know who Prince was.)

Someone else's fault? What kind of troll are you?

I live in a place where they sell discs labels wants to sell.

Also I have a full time job and two kids amd don't have time to run after these RSD, behind a few hundred copies sold in the whole country. At most.
Maybe 2,000 copies were available outside the USA, dispatched in dozen of countries, for hundred of millions consumers. That's hardly easily available for me, I m sorry.

So if the record is not on Amazon or in stores : I don't care.

Lately I bought the RSD on Amazon for the Time amd Sheila E : they sound like shit, when they are not warped. I leave these RSDs for you.

You seem to always blame your problems on something else except your own ignorance and in this case on RSD, mr. troll.
If you don't even know how to find a album I wonder if you ever heard about this thing called a phone that you can use to call stores for info on what they have in stock or if they will get a specific album. But you come off as some millennial who's too lazy or can't even understand simple things like that.
RSD has given me plenty of great releases that weren't faulty and were exclusive. Besides buying vinyl from Amazon is a huge risk because I don't know what they do with them or how they store them but they're usually warped or faulty.
And if you live is some lame place where there's no decent record stores than that's your problem and not on RSD. If the stores around you don't care to participate in RSD to get these releases than there's your problem.
I live in Holland and if something doesn't get to my local record store I pick up this thing called a phone and call other stores to see if they have it or get it. You should try that instead of blaming your lame problems or RSD or use the fact that you have a family as some sort of reason or excuse to not pick up a phone to ask around.
I have a full time job and a family too and live in a smaller country that gets less albums on RSD than France but I never have a problem getting what i want, so it's pretty clear that you and your millenial attitude are the problem.

Can't you just understand that I don't care?
That I don't have time and envy to run after an overpriced lame album?
That sometimes people on a bord can't have the same opinion as you or somebody else??

I don't blame it on RSD, not even on the labels doing that marketing limited thing.

If you really didn't care (and it's not about an opinion but you just spout bullshit as usual with pretend facts) then why get so anal about it and whine about you not being able to get shit and blame that on things other than yourself? You cared enough to continuesly whine about how your lazy attitude couldn't even pick up a phone to check a store if they carried The Truth and then keep blaming RSD or retailers for your ignorance on how to have easily gotten it on RSD.

But, yeah, you really don't care and thats why you keep trolling here lol

So, don't try to strawman this discussion with things that have no relevance or by pretending to be some victim and that your baseless opinions are challenged by me because I didn't, so don't make up issues that don't exist just to try to come off a some victim or a sympathetic person, which you clearly aren't.

You don't know how to go about to get a special release on a special day for record stores, that's just your problem. So stop whining because it's all because of your own ignorance.

How does the vinyl sound.

Any pressing issues?

The only shop in my town participating in RSD had sold their 5 copies by the time I was able to get there.

This is why I dislike this stupid RSD malarkey.

The awful cover made me not to disappointed.

Heard only the 2nd disc.
Sounds mostly like the cd, heard new things on Shy though.

Disappointed by the D-sides, that was supposed to be 5 remixes, there are only 2+ the album version ( again! Nonsense) + 2 radio edit singles eek

I picked up my copy yesterday (Australia) and I have the European edition pressed at Pallas - it is flawless, very dynamic and full, not one click or pop and sits perfectly flat on the table. The music is superb on this pressing, THIS is how an LP should be pressed. It is 1000% better than the original CD release and I am so thrilled to have this.

There is also a US pressing that is pressed at GZ - but that is also getting good reviews.

The European Pressing is yellow with Swirls, rather than Gold -

but it matters zilch to me as I am buying it for the music, the packaging is not a deal breaker for me as I buy my Vinyl to play it. I have a high end system and rate this 11/10 for Quality.

Sooooo happy with this release.
