Can anyone tell me what is being said in the "pig latin" sections of this song? I can't figure it out, but I know the female at the beginning, and later on in the song, has to be saying something. I can't figure out how they structure the wording of this silly speak.

However the sample is not Danish it seems more like a sample from something else

She's on the track but she doesn't say she did the Pig Latin parts. Sounds more like Hannah to me.

Agreed. Horrible song. Throws a pipebomb into what, up to the point of the song, is not too bad of an album. Just effs the whole thing up.

Always felt to me like PlectrumElectrum (the album) was a missed opportunity.

Feels like with all the tracks Prince had been kicking around with 3rdEyeGirl at the time, that the intention was for this to be a hard rock album - contrasting strongly with Art Official Age's more electro/pop sound.

And I always suspected that WB stipulated - as part of the agreement to release both albums - that 'we're gonna need PE to be a bit more pop.' Because, let's face it, the best stuff on the album is the hard rock stuff. The weakest is the pop stuff. It all sounds rushed and/or half-assed.

Or maybe, of course, it was all Prince's decision to water down the rock.... also possible!

Whatever the reason, while I like the rock tracks on here for the most part, this album also has some of the weakest material Prince ever released on it.

And sorry, but Hannah is easily the worst drummer Prince was ever associated with. So ham-fisted and simplistic.

BoyTrouble, TicTacToe, WhiteCaps, Stop This Train, all forgettable dross, unfortunately. And also FunkNRoll, which is a really fun track, especially in the Art Official Age version, is utterly lifeless here, ending the album on a really boring note.

That's a good chunk of the album that blows chunks. A shame, because the good stuff here is very good.

Edited to add: Also, FixUrLife Up, while okay musically, is up there with most annoying songs Prince ever wrote.... I need to fix my life up? You need to fix your life up, mofo, go f%&k yourself with that bullshit.

That is some terrible songwriting. Arrogant, holier-than-thou nonsense. FixUrLifeUp and What If? can get in the sea.

Put what parts back into pig? Have you even looked at the link you provided, the pig Latin parts have not been transcribed.

I was pretty hard on this album when it came out. It's still not my favorite, by any means (maybe at the bottom along with Planet Earth and MPLSound), but there are a few tracks that I do like.

Now that Prince is gone, I appreciate a lot of what I hated before. It will never be my favorite, but I like half of it.

Some think this song was written about Lala Esc. (what was her last name again?)

I assume some sort of pig latin due to the pattern of the pronounciation. I'll try slowing it down, though. Maybe that will help solve this all important mystery!
