even if it's coming from the same video source, the codecs for DVD do add some compression artifacts (those blocky pixels) that a Bluray Disc - with more modern codecs and a lot of disc space to play around - does not have to deal with it.

so, apparently, it's the same video (with some tinkering, recoloring and without any compression) and enhanced audio and options (new master was found and remixed for surround and atmos flavors)

There never is any news form The Vault, meaning what they find, what they do, what they did.

From what I once heard by someone here, is that Michael Howe bascially is alone... possibly with a very very small team (maybe) of two three people.

Don't 4get and i was hope 4 this new release but finally i remembered that Sony can't release any unreleased Vault content from 78/95 always under WB control 4 ever ..except...if there is an agreement between Sony/WB/The Estate ...until now there is not...Sony can release only back official catalogue from Warner ..so until now releases with unreleased extra from the vault >Only WB/The Estate !
