However in the SDE, it is a mix between peace symbols and o' - the latter as used in the text of the book. . All jokes aside, both are used and the grammar error there in is just a bit of fun. As an artist's name for their art, the grammar error is long known and irrelevant. | |

I read these in a Yorkshire accent in my head and it's a joyful thing. In a strong Yorkshire accent, the definite article gets replaced by a glottal stop or glottal stop/t sound depending on whether the next sound is a vowel. It's a very very traditional county and most of the time the dropped "the" is found in things like "top o t'moor" or "on Ilkey moor bar t'hat", which adds even more comedy value. You might need to be from the UK to "get it", but it's hilarious. At least I think so.
