I'm curious what he put up there with Queen and The Time.

I’ve not seen it yet. It won’t be anything profound or incitefull.
He’ll also have put Jungle Love as Prince as he knows it from Originals.

He has no idea what the lyrics mean.

I'm not expecting profundity. It's probably music I've never heard. But those two songs on a list together makes me wonder what else could fill it out.

I don't think I've thought for more than one second about the lyrics to Jungle Love. If it's about anything more than sex I'd be surprised. Well, maybe not, considering it's Prince, but it doesn't seem to be one of his deeper efforts.

To the OP : are you living in the US?
Is that song known in this country ?
Is it played on radio, tv, etc. ?
Or is it just because you're a Prince fan?

I’m in NZ, you never hear it here. It’s purely just the kid hearing what I play and when I first played Original when he was 10/11, he instantly liked it.

Mind you, he likes Queen and Bowie as well as Prince. Doesn’t seem bothered with much of the current crap.

If he's of high school age, then are you sure he doesn't understand the what the lyrics mean?

Yes, he’s just not that attentive and he’s also very naive and innocent.

The poor fucker though, he’s actually my nephew but I’m his de facto Dad. He lives with his Nana and she’s sent him to a Catholic school and he’s never been subjected to religion and had his first ever RE lesson from some crusty old Num. He thinks she’s nuts and couldn’t stop laughing at all the praying she was muttering to herself.

It’s kinda why the song choice is even funnier.
