As a kid I was madly in love with Cindy. And a huge Prince fan. I remember watching her on an episode of Oprah where Oprah actually played a small snippet of the song before the song was released in 94. I remember at the time thinking, how can Oprah play an unreleased Prince song? So Cindy def knew the song back then, maybe she's forgot it since then, lol.
