I just noticed on a Court document that Breanna Nelson is listed as a Co-Trustee on the John Nelson Revocable Trust.

Interesting...since her claim against the Estate was denied.

I was told it's a different person.

Brianna Nelson was Duane's niece.

Breanna Nelson is John R Nelson Jr's daughter.

With Primary wave who took control of the rights & copyrights we are not sure about new releases as we knew so far...we are not even sure that The Estate entity + Troy Carter/Howe will continue to be employed in the weeks/months to come.

You are correct. PW has 90% of Tyka's heirship, all of Omarr's and Alfred's. They are the major owner (owning more than anyone else) but SNJT totalled have more than 50%. What a mess.
I watch all those other song catalogs selling for $500-$800 million....and where's Prince's?

Prince’s Estate Is a Royal Mess: 5 Ways You Can Do Better

Prince’s Estate Is a Ro... Do Better

When pop superstar Prince died of a fentanyl overdose in 2016, he left behind significant assets, many relatives … and no will. It was a recipe for disaster. In addition to tangible assets – money in the bank, real property – Prince left music rights and the value inherent in his name and likeness. Comerica, the estate’s administrator valued it all at $82.3 million; the IRS said it was worth twice that amount – a whopping $163.2 million – and asserted a tax claim for $39 million.

It took six years and tens of millions of dollars in legal fees, but the heirs and the IRS finally came to terms in January, agreeing on a final valuation of $156.4 million. In the interim, there were changes. Prince’s half-brother passed away in 2019, leaving a will that opened the door for new, unrelated parties to assert claims against the estate. Now the process of distributing the vast estate finally begins. We may not possess a fraction of Prince’s estate, but we can all treat our heirs like royalty. Simple steps now can prevent a nightmare like the one his family experienced. These are five key lessons from the Prince estate debacle.

Variety says...

Prince Estate Formally Split Into Two Camps in New Court Ruling

As the Prince estate moves forward after years of confusion following the singer’s 2016 death, the six heirs are divided into two camps: the three siblings who sold their interests to Primary Wave, and the three who have retained their holdings.

With the value of the estate recen....4 million, the two parties are now establishing a structure for how to work together. In a ruling on Tuesday, a Minnesota judge decided against Primary Wave’s proposal to create a single holding company. Instead, the holdings will be distributed equally to the two camps, who will likely set up separate holding companies: Primary Wave and the three siblings and their advisors, L. Londell McMillan and Charles Spicer, who are said to hold a stake in the estate.

On Tuesday, Judge Kevin Eide said he would not order the siblings to “contribute their share to a business entity against their wishes… The heirs have waited for almost six years to have some control over how the Prince estate moves forward. The court will not, by choice, order that their share of the estate be turned over to a single holding company.”

However, Eide said he will not grant final approval until the two sides formally agreed on a workable management structure.

“It would not be equitable for one heir to withhold their ascent to business opportunities that bind the other Heirs or diminish the value of Estate assets,” he wrote. “The court will require that the management structure be in place before distribution.”

I was surprised at the concern of the $50 million recoverable debt. I may have read that wrong.

Why not one holding company with equal voting rights for heirs or primary wave-sold-heirs?

What is the risk in there?

Problem is PRINCE's stuff is all over the place, he had one off deals he had his own label he had his own label owned by a major label and he had his deal with WB, plus publishing spread all over the place during certain time periods, its just too scattered. Then you have some overseeing certain aspects of this, certain time periods and then the fans who just want everything put out, which is never going to happen. Fans first of all are thinking in terms of "we have this already bootlegged in good quality" well the estate doesnt quite care or is not going to take into account our bootlegs from years ago. I mean the Beatles fan have tons of the stuff that was released in the Get Back film and the anthologies series on old vhs bootleg tapes but does the Beatles estate really care? no its put out and the fans mostly it regardless. Prince fans also feel the most obscure is what should be released, WELL again the estate is thinking that but they also have to realize and take into account who is going to buy this? If we spend this much to master it package it etc....it cant sit on shelves in stores.

At https://www.mncourts.gov/mncourtsgov/media/High-Profile-Cases/10-PR-16-46/Order-Other_19.pdf I read:

ORDER
1. The Court adopts the proposal submitted by Sharon Nelson, Noreen Nelson, the Estate of
John Nelson, L. Londell McMillian and Charles Spicer.

So a sort of decision is forced here?

What does this mean versus what the other group had proposed?

The link didn't work and I don't feel like hunting this down. If I recall correctly, Primary Wave wanted everyone's estate interests in one big pot, but SNJ, Lawnie, Koppleman, and the JN Trust wanted their interests to be separate from Primary Wave. Judge Eide thought both groups should have thier own.

@Sharon_L_Nelson on Twitter today:

But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.
PSALM73:28

The taxes are paid, Praise The Lord.
#Comerica bye, bye.

Not necessarily.
I, for one, fear what will happen when it's turned over to PM and heirs.

I'm gonna bet that PW won't go along with her in much of anything. And that Lawnies thirst will align more with PW than the elders. Hell, maybe even John's trust recipients may not go along with them either.

Both groups of heirs were tasked with coming up with one because they all were unhappy with Bremer's handling. Comerica is what Sharon/Norine/John came up with. Tyka/Omarr/Alfred had a different choice but agree to go with the elder's choice of Comerica.

According to the filings, through lies and deceit. Comerica told the heirs prior to being appointed they had entertainment experience and that they would work with them collectively, once appointed Comerica made it their estate to plunder with total disregard for the heirs. no no no!
