A few months back, I was listening to an interview with someone (may have been another NPG band member, I don't remember as it was late at night and I was falling asleep), and heard them mention that they had performed with other Minneapolis-based artists, including Jesse Johnson.

lol Yeah, I remember, I think Damon was on a podcast and he said they had other dudes in the dance group but they dropped out and did other stuff, so later it was just them 3, Damon, Tony and Kirk.

In the PR movie, the dance group also consists of more than 3 dancers, likely 4 or 5... see for example the scene of "The Bird".
.
Jesse was smart enough to only let these guys dance, and not rap on one of his albums biggrin
