Yes, that's the reason for Gold. I guess B Sides is being held back to include those songs in SDEs. Diamonds and Pearls and possibly Symbol will have SDE releases.

Any idea what the block is on The Black Album?

There was a resemblance. Not as strong as the resemblance between Cream and Get It On (Bang a Gong) or that song he straight ripped off for Colonized Mind, but it's there.
