He conjured up the spirits with that “Just My Imagination” performance. Definitely a high spiritual moment in time & what’s more amazing is that it wasn’t an elaborate show, just another gig in a small club (no pun intended).

I can’t imagine what it must’ve felt like walking out of there after that performance.

Everyone seems to love that Just My Imagination performance. It's good, but I've always been about D.M.S.R. from that aftershow. The way he seems to casually build it up. The "on the one" stop, then the two, three and four. The blistering America solo that seems to tear at time and space. My favorite live song.

I hear what you are saying about "Just My Imagination".

I still feel bad for missing this show. It took place in my hometown The Hague and I had been at the main Prince concert in Rotterdam that night. Unfortunately I was on a holiday in a small Dutch bungalow park that week and not staying in my own city, so I missed all the rumours and only found out about the "Small Club" gig the day after...

RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

He went next level.

I remember hearing this for the first time and hitting replay 5 times.
