I fully agree it should've been that.

Actually, if they ever release these shows (as a SDE box set - can dream, can I),

wouldn't that be a great Xmas release ?

I mean... Prince didn't do Xmas for the most part of his life,

but somehow this feels ot me as the perfect package for that reason.

Might bring in some interesting cash for The Estate too.

And we happy !

You'd want a sort of SDE around this cassette?

Yet they will not. (the recordings were fresh and ready, the time was right and they let it pass...)

how come you're so sure of that

you just NEVER KNOW until it is announced

It is plain simple as that

All the rest is pure speculation

Howe is just that.

It is slow.

And yet they did not take the easy fruits.

Let us stay on topic.

The estate will do this SDE not anytime soon.

A carefully curated compilation of the piano and microphone shows would be awesome, It was one of my favourite tours.

'compilation'?

WTF is wrong with people that they accept 'compilation' instead of the whole thing?

I.e.: where is the box set with all of the shows of his final tour in soundboard quality?

That would have sold.

Each CD separately and some bonus for the people that got them all.

.

Too hard to think of?

allow me to amend my comment; I would prefer to have all the piano and microphone shows, soundchecks and rehearsals. I would still be thrilled to have a carefully curated compilation of the best of these performances. lol

Thanlks, that jhelps.

.

In general it means the Estate cannot see money or there is some 'issue' we do not know about that prevents release of these shows. Of course it is not standard practice to be open about these simple matters...
