I have a really hard time listening to this song nowadays, ever since I mourned his death by going to the AMC 30 at The Block in Orange to see Purple Rain during its first showing on 4/22/2015 at 9:30PM; once Purple Rain started playing at the end it was just...waterworks. The whole theatre was emotional, and now I am every time I listen to the damn song. I'm not sure about "chills," but it sure does something to me!
