Prince biopic auditions, by Jordan Peele

..was a skit on Saturday Night Live tonight, with host Rami Malek. It was funny.

Daniel Craig made an appearance in the skit, too.

Eeehh, it felt like a mix to me. The higher waisted pants are the 90s era, but the material of the jacket felt more like a Parade era thing.

It was really funny, though.

Unmistakably Prince though.

Fun skit and Rami has Ps otherworldly vibe down. It would have been funnier if the samples had been a little more varied but still had his trademark yelp.

I think repeating the Kiss intro was part of the fun. I saw it as a skit based on "WHO could play Prince?" by a bunch of people stuck in one time period.
The fact that the costumes were blatantly wrong was more of the fun.

He does. Skit was weird though.

I hope Rami isn't trying to get cast as Prince, though.

Doesn't look like he was giving that much energy to it, just looked like having fun playing along. The point was got though. We'll see.

His posture and body type in that particular outfit was eerily similar. This is probably the only guy that could ever played Prince in a biopic.

I mean... it's a skit. This ain't Shakespear theater. It wasn't when Eddie was on there either. Even Eddie has his off days. To say it's never been funny since then seems incredibly obtuse.

Rami already played Freddie lol he wants to play all of his favorite artists

i agree tho with whoever said this was a corny skit lol

anyways, they could just find somebody who is his height and can move like him.... then get the greatest VFX artists in the world to utilize the most expensive deepfake techonology and then find a good voice actor (with a mix ig of recorded tracks for the singing parts) then BOOM. we got a Prince bio pic....

but then again, we kiiiinnnnnda had it in Purple Rain..... Prince was so smart and ahead of his time "let me make sure no one makes a cheesy, cash-grab bio-pic about me after I'm gone... i'll do it myself, my own mysterious way and it won't even be about me but a character: The Kidd"

they can still make a good documentary series though
