You might remember also that Prince died, which measn that no new music is being produced.

I think the OP means after Prince passed, there was a slew of unheard material leaked here and there, and why did this seem to abuptly stop.

Only those 'elite' collectors know I guess, Maybe the Estate gave them a warning, maybe that was all there was? Personally I'm kinda happy those leaks have stopped, gives us a chance to breathe and stop clammering after the next leak. Many will argue, but the Estate have filled that gap with a slow and steady release strategy. (I could easily take a new release every month, but I understand they have to monetise the situation).

Collectors are way down as someone has to get the stuff from the PP-circles to the collectors.

Where would you picture that someone now?

Not from collectors.

Eventually, later, etc, the collectors got hold of them.

These guys specialize in getting treasure from inside mountains.

I think for a few reasons:

1. The vault material has been moves and thus not passed around
2. Since Price passed maybe collectors have held onto "rare" material longer and hoarding it for more profic later on (douche move IMO)
3. More material has surfaced, and thus less material to surface

Not exactly. There are many pruple friends who still have cassettes and copies of songs passed around since the 80s who got it from a friend, of a friend, of a bandmember etc.

Somebody put Eye Records on blast actually with the last few leaks and it has been downhill since, especially when the Estate sent that Cease and Desist letter.

Collectors originally got their tracks from band members who got it from the vault. When we heard our leaks from 2014/15 the collectors original source from band members were not band member who had gotten their recordings from prince recently they were mostly from the 80's, 90s. ? Its not like they were tracks that sourced from the vault recently. I dont believe iron mountain is relevant because our leaks are coming from old tightly guaraded 'wells'.
