Yes it is! There is a rock guitar solo in it even? It's pretty clearly a take on the then burgeoning industrial rock of the time. NIN, Ministry, Marilyn Manson, etc. These, and the song Loose, are absolutely rock.

I don't consider Loose to be a rock song. It's hard, yes, but it's too electronic for most people to think of it as rock. Most people have a more organic sound in mind when they think of rock.

I understand that some critics may have created a label for a new rock genre to include artists like NIN, but again, I doubt the mass public would put think of them as rock, at least not off the top of their heads. YOu might be able to talk them into it.

if we were talking about the Crystal Ball version 'Get Loose' then I would totally agree with you both.

Comparing the two makes the rock aspects of the initially released version from Come very very obvious. If 'Get Loose' had been on Come instead I would absolutely never call it rock of any sort.

If u look 4 traditional elements of rock than Loose is not rock but if u look at the bigger picture Loose is industrial techno rock.it def ain't dance pop lol
