This is a really good article! It's rare that magazines focus on music-making so much. I really appreciated this and got new info. That difficult for head like me! |

Here's a secret: look for the question mark ? in any URL and ONLY copy everything in front of that.
Why? Because everything else is tracking and advertising leads. Clickable: https://www.guitarplayer....o-and-road
I don't know why this site suddenly hid the coding to insert URLs so they'd be clickable but it's annoying. I know enough basic coding to insert them. [Edited 9/11/21 13:26pm] Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me. |

A recent clip from the Welcome to America tour of a massive Prince solo on Play That Funky Music made me once again reconceptualize how great of a guitar player he was. Simply amazing!
That clip is in constant rotation on my YouTube playlist.
He was amazing til the very end. [Edited 9/12/21 11:24am] |

Is it really that simple- always look for the question mark in the URL? Thanks for the 411... |

Yup!!!
Never understood why he had that whammy bar phase.
He never really needed it.
He always had a "natural vibration" Autopen Signature |

Mike Scott: There’s a live video of us playing in London, and he broke the band down and just had me play by myself, and I was playing this guitar part that was a combination of my part and his part – and then he changed keys and I was still doing it in two-part harmony. That impressed him.
.
.
Does anybody know which concert he is talking about? Musicology tour? Or from 98? |
