That's interesting, when singing Dark he would replace the word with 'witch'.
Not sure about cursing but he would often say "good God", or similar expressions. Some people would view that as a misuse of God's name. Prince obviously didn't have an issue with that. |

that still was never viewed as a 'curse' word
now if damn followed God, then I guess it would still be damn as the curse word |

Actually, very pious people do consider "Good God" to be a curse. They say it's taking the Lord's name in vain. Similarly, if you use "Jesus Christ!" as an exclamation, they would say that's taking the Lord's name in vain and is equivalent to cursing.

Are you looking for examples to show Prince being less than fully devoted/a hypocrit?
Or are you looking for examples to try to pinpoint when Prince began moving away from the strict JW dogma?

I've never hear anyone react to 'Good God' like that. God Damn or Jesus Christ!! yes
