Reminds me of the time Rick was on Letterman around 1982.

Rick did a rousing and deeply passionate live version of "She Blew My Mind (69 Times)" and after when Rick came over to sit for a chat with Dave, Dave's first words were "Something from the Christmas album, I see."

I just happened to have it on in the background and looked up while they were doing the puzzled. Shamed to say that couldn't solve when it was mostly filled out , but got it about the same time the contestant did.
