End of All My Dreams Never fails to give me goosebumps. So epic. Are these the right lyrics?
All my dreams, all my dreams Goodness will guide us if love is inside us The colors are brighter, the bond is much tighter You know no child's a failure Until the blue sailboat sails him away from his dreams Don't ever lose, don't ever lose Don't ever lose your dreams Yeah |

Epic ending Cant believe my purple psychedelic pimp slap
And I descend from grace, In arms of undertow
I will take my place, In the great below |

It's an amazing song (definitely in my top 10) with an amazing ending.
With respect to the lyrics, the only thing I question is this line:
"The colors are brighter, the bond is much tighter"
It doesn't sound like "bond" to me. I can't quite make it out, but it sounds like something starting with a "p", like the "pop is much tighter", which I realize makes no sense. "The pocket is tighter" is a drum term, but I'm not sure it would make sense here.

I also though it was "pump is much tighter" as in "the sex is better". The song is full of sexual imagery that juxtaposes against the more quaint music, sing-songy melody and old timey effects.

Yep, I agree that word is up for debate. I also struggle to hear the two 'no' sounds, for 'know no'. RIP |

I’ve thought he was singing ‘the pop is much tighter’ for 30 years. In better quality I’m more convinced than ever and was surprised when I looked up the lyrics a while back (for the slowed down shit) to see ‘bond’. It definitely ain’t ‘bond’.
Not sure why anyone thinks ‘pop’ doesn’t make sense either. |

Now that you mention it, it does sound like only one no/know.

Not sure why anyone thinks ‘pop’ doesn’t make sense either. I always thought it was “ The colors are brighter, the parking’s much tighter” Shawn |

One of my top 10 songs ever.
Still disappointed that the estate never released "Old Friends 4 Sale" and "All My Dreams" back to back, as they were originally segued. You can still hear the end of "OF4S" at the beginning of "All My Dreams" in the official releases. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking. |

Yeah it should have been left for a Parade set...If we get one... I am thinking we will get no more that 4 more *including a full Purple Rain set.

this is one of my most favorite parts to any song...
and that "goodness will guide" like was also used (with "us" instead of "you" ) in "Christopher Tracy’s Parade" AND "Love" means GOD. In several of his songs he where he used the word "Love" he meant "God." ("elephans and flowers" "Theives in the Temple" "A Place In Heaven" "Anna Stesia")

It's really strange they used the Parade version when the non segue version has also leaked and obviously exists. |

And you can't tell me they don't have the ability to break up the masters of that segue to create a non-segued version. I'd still be willing to have "All My Dreams" on Parade, if that original segue was intact.
Because like Camille, to release all the early Parade config tracks so fans can build their own playlist should be on a shortlist.
Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking. |

A slightly different version with the original (unsegued) start of it was shared to some when SOTT SDE wqas released (sadly not with me). Would have been great if The Estate released that version and leave the segued verion for Parade SDE or just release the completed configs of Dream Factory for us.

Me too. Limewire, dialup internet. I started the download and went to my math tutor. It was finished when I got back home.

When I first heard "All My Dreams," I immeidately saw burgundy and ash colors. So it's always been a burgundy song for me.

To me really sounds like the 'pump' is much tighter. In similar context to emotional pump. |
