Highlight? Low point! It's by far the most annoying part of the whole record. Tap dancing on a CD, how stupid is that. That's something you need to watch, not listen to. This is what makes Emancipation a good album. While some feel it's bloated, I see it as Prince giving everyone a little something that appeals to their ears.

For instance, I think Holy River is so bland, boring and was so dissapointed when he released that as a single when there were more interesting songs to chose from. But see that is a fan favorite, it's corny as hell to me (I hate his "light rock" songs - see Planet Earth album).

Joint2Joint stuck out immediately for me when they played a snippet of it when he did the Emancipation special from Paisley Park. I had to find out what song that was cuz it just sounded amazing, electric and interesting. I wasn't let down when I heard the full version. This is funny, quirky Prince (my fav). The change up in the middle is so dope! The bass...Lawdt! I agree with Housequake, J2J is fucking amazing!

Different strokes...I feel the same way about Holy River. I love just about 90% of what Prince has put out- I am such a fan of his songwriting, Holy River is just so MEH especially coming off of J2J.

Holy River is beautifully recorded, the musicianship is outstanding and the song is sublimely beautiful and perfect.
