I will come back and post as soon as I get the answer. They only played it briefly, but I like the smoothness of it.

There have been a lot of covers, including Me'Shell D'NegeO'cello, Native, and others. Pull up "Sometimes it Snows in April cover" on youTube and see if you can find it that way. There's nothing on IMDB (yet?) about that episode's details.
