Why Should I Love You was written by Kate, so you can't have an original Prince version of it.

I would love to hear the version that Prince supplied back to her.

I'm surprised that Baby Go-Go isn't being mentioned more. That's probably one of my favourite outtakes, and definitely one of my favourite Prince basslines. The Nona Hendryx version was much too "busy".

Dope!!! I don't think Stand Back exists.. she just openly acknowledged that he played synth on it and she wrote with "Little Red Corvette" in her head. Big Stevie Nicks fan here. That would absolutely blow my mind though.

She said he gave her the inst of "Purple Rain" to write to. Even that would be interesting to hear since it did not arrive with the expanded Purple Rain album.

She still owns (I assume the only copy) the original music (not arranged) of Purple Rain.

Some good choices. Mayte's album and Tamar's album Prince's version. I would prefer a complete album from the vault instead. (Like a Prince and the NPG album etc).

those were not his originals. those were them taking the vocal from his original version, adding reverb up the ass and pasting his vocals on the artist album version. the only song that i believe was untouched was Love Thy Will B Done. now if they give us his untouched original versions then cool but i think they save those for deluxe editions of releases.

While it's not the original, if you search YouTube for this, someone mixed it the way Sheila's version was. It's pretty sweet.
