While they keep delivering whatever the hell I want the next day, or the same day if I order early enough, I'll keep using them. I don't care if one billionaire or another billionaire, or even a mere millionaire, gets my money.

Maybe you should care about the people who work for low wages. Because the way you become a billionaire is by being cheap. That's capitalism for ya. I never spent a cent at Amazon and I can also always buy whatever I want. But I admit we're getting a little off topic here & it's my fault...

2 Stars, since I feel generous today.

It is very easy to understand why he didn't release this--though to be fair it's on the same level as Chocolate Invasion or maybe Slaughterhouse. Except Prince's voice is drowned entirely out on some songs. It is very disappointing because of all the insane glowing reviews. What the hell are they listening to?

Very disappointed.prince left it in the vault for good reason. A good curiosity for those wondering what kinda things he left in his vault. I think we're seeing that it's everything he decided should be in the vault and not in record shops.

Yes, Amazon took products that had previously been super expensive and luxury items and made them affordable and accessible to the masses... in doing so, reducing the difference in standards of living between the rich and poor... benefiting consumers in the lower income brackets... I think you mean fuck america, which provides the system for bezos to exploit. Ain't you listening to this prince record? Cuz he ain't wrong...

Anyway, I give the album 2.5-3...it's probably a grower and definitely sounds unfinished, but it'll make it to steady rotation.

A solid three and a half stars for me. Definitely more 'my kind' of Prince album than 20Ten. Maybe feels a little 'unfinished' in parts, but it's a very satisfying back-to-back listen with the HITnRUN albums, IMO.

Just think though, for those 10 minutes Bezos was zooming round the earth Amazon warehouse workers got to have a much needed extra toilet break.

2 stars. There are 12 tracks and only three of them are fast tracks. That's assbackwards of how it used to be when Prince albums were mostly fast tracks with two or three slow tracks at the most. Back in the day, if I liked a particular song from a particular artist but I knew the majority of that album was going to be slow stuff, I looked for the 45 of the song I wanted. lol

Andy is a four letter word.

So when poor people have less stuff than rich people it's a terrible injustice...

But when poor people start to aquire some of those same possessions it's terrible consumerism/materialism...

In other words, when poor people lack stuff it's bad, but when they get stuff it's also bad. Makes perfect sense.

A definite four stars. It's a very strong cohesive album; almost a horn-less cousin to HitNRun Phase 2, which I also consider a stellar album.

I see what you're saying. The sound is somewhat similar to HNR Phase 2. But I don't think it's anywhere near as good as HNR 2, which I consider a great album.

The only song I strongly like on W2A is 1,000 Light years. With that said, the only song I find objectionable is Hot Summer. I'm not embarasssed by any other songs, but at the same times I don't find them inspiring either. They're kind of generic. This album makes decent background music, but it's not something I would find myself seeking out and listening to intently.
