I know this is an old subject that's already been discussed, but couldn't find an answer here or elsewhere online, regarding the speed issues on the recent "His Majestys Pop Life" vinyl/CD re-issues...

As already noted, "Little Red Corvette" Dance Mix in particular plays notably faster than on the original

12" single (and the 1999 deluxe release) + there were some minor slower/faster pitch on a few other tracks too.

Where these speed differences new to the re-issues only, or where they actually already on the original 1985 Japan release? And Warner just decided to keep them on the reissue too, just to make an exact authentic replica? Anyone compared an original copy to the reissue?
