OPUS!

Honestly, what the heck was OPUS supposed to be? Was it released? If so, who has it? If not, WTF? Wasn't it supposed to include an iPod w/ Prince music or something?

I've never seen that much confusion around something Prince was doing since Crystal Ball and a plethora of BRR! jackets getting lost in the shuffle.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

It was an ipod loaded with the Indigo Nights CD. Looks like it also came with the 21 nights booklet. Claims to have a video too. I don't remember if anyone ever got it or if it's possible to still buy. The site exists though.

Im sure the video from the opus ipod leaked. From what i remember the video was not that long nor great quality due to the cameras used. Will have to search the hard drives to double check.

There was a ''21 night in London'' Documentary that was only available on the ipod.

There was (is?) a video of an unboxing online, so at least one copy was bought and shipped.

.

Probably more, though: as said above, the exclusive 21 Nights In London video album that was on the iPad (mostly live footage with bits of interviews) was leaked some years ago, possibly by a purchaser. Whoever did it, I'll never thank them enough yes.

Some of us seem to have it. Although princevault still says that they don't know whether this was released or not. Which is strange.

Who was it here on the .org that had complaints about the size of releases ?

I hope it doesn't fit your CD or Vinyl rack. lol

There ya go.

wink

-

Wish we could get our hands on that documentary.

Although i'm sure it is all about how genius and extraordinary etc all things Prince are/were.

And load so f blah blah.

I love the two blond chicks in the preview video asking the interviewee at the entrance of a concert what Prince's real name is, ''his born given name'' ?! biggrin

I mean, as if they just heard of him or discovered him on the spot.

Too funny and stupid at the same time.

He didn't do that signature, it was done by some scammer namer Karl Fowler to hike up the price of the (Kraken) Opus. See this topic with a warning post from Neversin from some years back on the details:

The documentary is widely pirated from the official 21 DVD.
Sometimes the original DVD is found and sold on eBay.

But is it worth that much ?

The quality seen from the (back) picture says something else (imho).

I don't think it's genuine: it would mean a huge theft of an in-house pressing, hard to get away with. This DVD is most likely a bootleg made to look authentic, either from a single stolen in-house DVD or from the Opus iPad.

Oh no... Please don't believe those rumors and lies about this being faked by this "Neversin" person, or that 10-year-old MJ blog. Clearly not a Prince fan or fam! 950 were produced and 10 were signed by Prince. Karl Fowler is not a scammer. He is the founder and owner of Kraken Opus, which produces these fine books. And he is my personal friend I've known for a long time.

lol sorry but I'll take the word of the numerous customers that that Karl Fowler scammed and still didn't deliver to than one of his friends. This only makes you look like to me that you're in on his scam. And as for Neversin, LOL, you have no idea I guess.
These books that he sold with that faked Prince autograph were even wet when some buyers treceived them and doesn't even look like Prince's autograph. No legit COA's are provided and even an expert said it was a faked autograph like any real fan can clearly see.

It was conformed to be real when a box of these DVD's were found together with the left over supply of the books and iPods.
Also the picture quality on the DVD is way better and much higher resolution than on the iPod.
https://www.copycatsmedia.com/ is teh MPLS based company that made these DVD's and some of Prince;s other official releases (N.E.W.S and Lotus Flower.)
