Certainly someone other than me has seen the Prince tribute band in Las Vegas. They're called 'Purple Reign" and are currently playing at the Boardwalk casino, Tuesday thru Saturday from 11pm until 2am. Being a huge Prince fam, I was skeptical than anyone would even dare try to impersonate Prince. But I have to say, they rocked! Jason Tenner who played Prince was really good. I mean really good! I was shocked! He sang and played guitar, danced, and had the moves. He had a cloud guitar and managed to play the signature solos from Purple Rain, Darling Nikki, and Computer Blue. The musicians in the band were excellent. If you get a chance check it out. you can also see their homepage at: http://www.purplereign.net. I was sure it would be cheezy, but it wasn't. They also did a bunch of stuff from "The Time", with a guy doing Morris. It was cool and Free! See ya!
