I just discovered that When Doves Cry from the 2015 Paisley Park Remaster is now available in Dolby Atmos on Apple Music - just that song, not the whole album. Has anyone listened to it? If so, thoughts on it? It sounds REALLY different! Sometimes in a great way, sometimes in a jarring way!

Apple have added Spatial Audio (Dolby Atmos) to their Apple Music Service. WDC is indeed now in Dolby Atmos

People have bad ears and cannot hear the difference between and MP3, CD, or highres audio.

People cannot discern exaggerated compression as is present on the Paisley Park `remaster` of PR.

People (at WB) do not have the spines to refuse this bad remaster.

People cannot explain what it is that makes this 'atmos' mix so different.

It makes it clear that providing a decent stereo mix still is a hard job these days.

When I first heard the Giles Martin Beatles surround mixes, my first thought after being blown away was: when will Prince get this treatment from a first-rate team of audio masters? The original Prince mixes will always be the original, the pure work of their creator, and will be cherished. But once you hear what's possible here, like in this WDC, it opens up other dimensions that are so rewarding. Let's hope we get whole albums this way, starting with D and P later this year.

I suppose that we can hear only this special Mix on D.Atmos system.....no other ways to listen this different Mix & differences on another audiophile system ?
