Phase3

Best Prince song of the last 10 years

Not counting posthumous songs, which 1 song is the best Prince released in the last 10 years.Albums from art official age, plectrum electrum, hitnrun phase 1 and 2,plus all the songs released as singles.
For me,it is "Way Back Home".
That song just does something to me and it is very chilling. Can remember the first time I heard it,my mind was blown away.
The song is definitely in my top 10 by him maybe top 5

Groovy Potential, Revelation or Look At Me, Look at You. Any one of those three could be my number one depending on my mood. Phase Two has, in my opinion, some of the best songs of his career on there.

I agree with those who've said Way Back Home - though I'm pretty partial to The Breakdown, too.

He was just so brutally honest in those songs - even more so than we knew at the time. It took me a long time before I could listen to either of them after he died.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

It's overwrought towards the end, and loses musicality.

Laserbeams are an acquired taste but they are mentioned in the Quran apparently.
