Prince Mix (Non Singles 1978-1988) Friend asked me to put together a mix of Prince songs (no longer than an hour) that weren't A-Side singles, as he knows most of them.
How does this look?
1) Erotic City 2) Sister 3) Lady Cab Driver 4) Do U Lie 5) Computer Blue 6) Shockadelica 7) Condition Of The Heart 8) Housequake 9) Baby I'm a Star 10) Partyup 11) The Ballad of Dorothy Parker 12) Private Joy 13) She's Always In My Hair 14) Adore

Did you put it together 2ndly by time or by how they flowed?

I would move She's Always in My Hair wayyy up, and throw 17 Days somewhere! Great list though.

Joy in repetition (yeah it wasn’t released in the period you state but was recorded in that time). By the way, why that time too? Could slip in something more recent, like Stare or Free Urself, 90s ‘I like it there’, noughties ‘Dreamer’? There may or may not be something coming!

Good selection, I have edited the order of your list above for sequencing purposes. Starts with a strong opener, follows up with some funk and then a proggy rock track, follows into some nasty Prince, Shockadelica winds down and hits you with two of Prince's top shelf ballads, Then Erotic City pulls a cloudy sex funk. Finishes with some flowing uptempo tracks and finishes with Do U Lie which serves as a snippet track like Her Majesty does in The Beatles' Abbey Road. [Edited 5/15/21 16:04pm]
